we uh had an argument the night aang arrived. i stayed with uncle for a while. things are still kind of tense.. i dont know how she'll take it.

can uncle come too??

Well, whenever you feel like bringing it up with her, you can. I know she has her issues with Aang, so it might be a no from her either way.

Besides, he's a friend, right?

yeah..... i don't know.
i don't think she's gonna take it well. maybe. a guest house might be a good idea but.... only if everyone else is comfortable with it. especially aang.
but i think living with you guys would be good for me.
besides i don't think the inn intends for us to live there for half a year, ha.


as for uncle
yes. he's definitely a friend. there's no reason to worry with him.
and we'd have no shortage of tea, that's for sure.

i dont know if this is any comfort but
azula hasn't tried to attack me even once since she arrived in lunatia last year
and definitely not since being here.
it's been almost a year without any violence between us
we've argued but..... thats it.
even when aang arrived.. and told me something very disconcerting.... when i confronted azula about it, all that came of it was a hard conversation.
i understand why uncle and aang and katara dont trust her.. and i don't think i'll ever trust her completely either....
but i believe she's changed. she's not the person we fought at the boiling rock. or the day of sozin's comet. years have passed for her. granted, aang knows what happened in those years, and you and i don't.
but i believe in second chances. third chances, fourth chances!!
....and it really means a lot to me youre willing to try with her. to invite her in on this anyway.
i mean, they say keep your enemies close, after all..
i know uncle and aang may not find it wise but not everything in life is about wisdom.
i'm all she has here.. she's afraid i'll abandon her. she's told me that herself. multiple times. i can't do that to her. i don't want to.
..so thank you for understanding..



and yes.
uncle will need his own tea cabinet.

other than the time she made me dance on my head thanks to a trial and control bracelet, she hasn't done anything malicious towards me either.
don't worry, i've got your back at least. even if she might not appreciate it when it's coming from me.

we'll have to get a big enough kitchen to accommodate all of our preferences.
